After months of teasing, adidas and Sean Wotherspoon finally announce the release of the adidas Superearth Superstar for the Superstar’s 50th anniversary. The pair emphasizes sustainability, eco-friendly materials and recycling.

It’s a 100% vegetal variation of the Superstar, the pair comes in a white leather base combined with the iconic white rubber toebox. The laces, sock liner, soles and inner lining of the pair are made from 100% recycled materials: paper, composite, recycled rubber and ortholite. Finally, new details come to mark the singularity of the pair: two-tone eyelets, the “Superearth” logo on the tongue and above all the multicolored floral embroidery which “spills over” from the pair.
