eBay X Nike SB Dunk Low Sandy Bodecker

In 2003, Nike SB auctioned off a special pair of Dunk Lows on eBay that were colored to resemble the famous marketplace’s logo. All proceeds from the sale – which ended with a final bid of $30,000 – went toward building new skateparks in the Portland area. Although only one pair of the shoes was sold, three are said to exist, one of which was sawed into four separate parts. 20 years later, Nike SB & ebaysneakers pay homage with the new 2022 version.

The patent leather with cut-out translucent windows is a tribute to these original Charity Dunks from 2003. The insole imagery commemorates Sandy and his paramount contributions to the Nike SB legacy. This variant features the colors of the famous online sales platform: eBay. In terms of comfort, we remain on a Dunk SB, so the foot hold is very nice thanks to the elastic inside. The foam midsole offers a light and responsive cushioning.
