Nike Air Max 1 Sketch To Shelf – White / Black

1987 was a very special year in the Swoosh brand’s history with the creation of the very first shoe with a visible air bubble, the Air Max 1, designed by the now-famous Tinker Hatfield. The shoe quickly became a reference of style, both on athletic tracks and in the street.

Nike pays tribute to the designer’s first research sketches with this Air Max 1 “Sketch To Shelf”. Annotations are scattered throughout the shoe, illustrating the vision of the designer. Finally, we find the first AIR MAX logo on the tongue and the insole.
